The objective of this policy is to; • Establish guidelines for Rural Municipality of Woodlands employees, regarding maintenance of the RM’s roads in the winter months in a safe and functional manner, • Reduce economic losses to the community and industry caused by restricted traffic conditions, • Facilitate the movement of emergency vehicles throughout the winter months, • Provide an equitable level of service to all residents of the RM of Woodlands. • During a major storm event, the target is to ensure majority of the properties are within 2 miles of a passible roadway.
Council of the R.M. of Woodlands will impose sixty-five percent (65%) spring weight restrictions, to commensurate with those dates as brought into effect by Manitoba Infrastructure as follows: 1. Local Urban District of Warren, with the exception of Hanlan Street, MacDonald Avenue, William Avenue, Coolidge Drive, Railway Avenue and Ed Peltz Drive; and 2. Village of Woodlands, with the exception of Main Street.

In accordance with Section 36 of The Municipal Councils and School Boards Election Act (MCSBEA), the Rural Municipality of Woodlands Voters List is open for changes or revisions.
Any person who is eligible to vote in municipal elections in the Local Authority of Rural Municipality of Woodlands can have his or her name added to the Voters List, or have any information about the voter on the Voters List corrected.
