The objective of this policy is to; • Establish guidelines for Rural Municipality of Woodlands employees, regarding maintenance of the RM’s roads in the winter months in a safe and functional manner, • Reduce economic losses to the community and industry caused by restricted traffic conditions, • Facilitate the movement of emergency vehicles throughout the winter months, • Provide an equitable level of service to all residents of the RM of Woodlands. • During a major storm event, the target is to ensure majority of the properties are within 2 miles of a passible roadway.
Public Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 194 of The Municipal Act, the Municipal Auditors Financial Report, together with the related Financial Statements, for the year 2018, have been deposited in the Office of the Administrator of the Rural Municipality of Woodlands and are available for inspection by any person or his agent during regular business hours and that any person or his agent, at his own expense, may make a copy thereof or extract therefrom.
