Disaster Financial Assistance Facts

Manitoba Emergency Measures Organization has created “Disaster Financial Assistance Facts,” a series of 15 fact sheets that provide information about the Disaster Financial Assistance program on a variety of topics.

They have also created a fact sheet designed for municipal residents to provide basic information on the DFA program.  Copies are available at the RM office.

March 18, 2020 The RM of Woodlands is enacting several preventative measures aimed at helping to slow the spread of COVID-19 and to minimize its impact on our health care system and in our community. We have taken numerous proactive measures as far as our internal operations go to ensure these services can continue with minimal disruption. Spring Weight Restrictions

Council of the R.M. of Woodlands will impose sixty-five percent (65%) spring weight restrictions, to commensurate with those dates as brought into effect by Manitoba Infrastructure as follows:
1. Local Urban District of Warren, with the exception of Hanlan Street, MacDonald Avenue, William Avenue, Coolidge Drive, Railway Avenue and Ed Peltz Drive; and
2. Village of Woodlands, with the exception of Main Street.

MANITOBA LAUNCHES FIRST STEP IN FORAGE INSURANCE REVIEW
