Due to restricting public access to all our Municipal Buildings including the Municipal Office, we are providing the following information to outline how we will be continuing to provide services to our community with as little disruption as possible. We will remain fully staffed and operational via phone and email as well as web services.
Emergency services like 911, Fire, RCMP, as essential services will continue regardless of the severity. We are in continual communication with all our emergency responders, and IERHA.
We have taken numerous internal proactive measures to ensure these services continue with as little disruption as possible, and we will continue to do so.
Please call the Administration office at (204) 383-5679 for any public works, drainage concerns or service requests.
The RM encourages all residents to please use online banking for all tax and utility payments. A drop box is available for drop offs which will be processed frequently.
Receipts will continue to be mailed when requested and for any accounts with a balance remaining after payment. If a receipt is required immediately, please contact the Municipal Office 204-383-5679 and we can send you a receipt electronically.
The majority of permit applications can be processed through email with Chad Green at firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone (431) 292-0003.
If we require information to be dropped off, the drop box at our front door can be utilized. Contact our office to discuss how to arrange for payment.
Preparations are being made to hold future Council meetings at the Multipurpose Building in Warren, ensuring that recommended social distancing setbacks can be achieved at all times. Any member of the public wanting to attend a council meeting must pre-register with our office a minimum of 2 business days in advance of the meeting date by contacting Karen Rothwell at email@example.com or the Municipal office at (204) 383-5679.
The RM of Woodlands will continue to hold their regularly scheduled Public Hearings at the Multipurpose Building in Warren, ensuring that recommended social distancing setbacks can be achieved at all times.
We will still be accepting applications that require a public hearing. This includes any variances required for building purposes or to facilitate subdivisions, and any conditional uses required. Any applications received via email or dropped off in our drop box will be processed and a hearing date scheduled. Please contact the Municipal Office for payment options. Notices will be sent to adjacent landowners within 100M that may be affected by the application with a note to contact our office to confirm if they plan to attend or not within 2 days of the hearing date. This pre-registering will ensure that staff has time to ensure social distancing is achieved. We accept and encourage emailed submissions for the hearings.
Please contact Chad Green at firstname.lastname@example.org or (431) 292-0003 with any questions or concerns in regards to public hearings.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we make adjustments to our operations and continue to serve you.
