RM of Woodlands 2020 Grant Applications

Manitoba Media Bulletin - PROVINCE ISSUES THIN ICE ADVISORY FOR SOUTHERN MANITOBA

A thin ice advisory for rivers, streams and lakes in southern Manitoba has been issued until full freeze up. The Hydrologic Forecast Centre of Manitoba Infrastructure advises that many water bodies in southern Manitoba are still in the process of freezing over, ice is still very thin and larger rivers still have open water in some areas.  The centre cautions: •    snowmobilers, skiers and others are advised not to venture onto rivers and lakes if at all possible due to the danger of falling through; •    thin ice is often covered by snow, which pro ...more

A care provider is available on Wednesdays.   Dr. Rannulu Annakkage is accepting patients every other Wednesday at Woodlands Clinic.  She also practices at Stonewall Medicial Group. Status of Manitoba Hydro October 10 2019 Storm Clean-up and Salvage Operations

On behalf of Manitoba Hydro, I’d like to thank you and your constituents for your support and patience as we worked to restore power to customers across the Province following the Thanksgiving Day storm. The massive scale and scope of damage to Manitoba Hydro’s system, combined with the adverse weather conditions made the recovery extremely challenging.
