Woodlands

The community of Woodlands, Manitoba is located approximately 30 kilometers northwest of Winnipeg on Provincial Trunk Highway #6. With a population of approximately 250 people, this small community provides residents with a safe, friendly location to raise a family. Seniors can also consider a suite in Oak Park Lodge and enjoy a variety of activity programs and a meal program.

Residential and commercial lots are available for development and serviced with sewer infrastructure installed in 1996. The Municipality is currently reviewing the extension of water service into the community.

Woodlands Elementary School welcomes children from Kindergarten age to Grade Eight. High school students are transferred to Warren Collegiate Institute in Warren, just 10 kilometers south on Highway #6.

Business services include a restaurant, post office, veterinary clinic, and store that offers groceries, video rentals, a gas station and is an authorized lottery and liquor outlet. Woodlands Physiotherapy provides services Tuesdays and Thursdays by appointment. Please refer to the business directory for detailed contact information.

Woodlands Recreation Centre is the hub of activity throughout the year including baseball, outdoor skating facilities and many special events for all ages. Woodlands Community Hall and Legion also host a number of social events annually. Don't forget to visit Woodlands Pioneer Museum to relive the history of this rural community!
