Additions to the Voters List and/or Personal Security Protection Requests

ANNUAL PUBLIC NOTICE
Additions to the Voters List and/or
Personal Security Protection Requests
In accordance with Section 36 of The Municipal Councils and School Boards Election Act (MCSBEA), the Rural Municipality of Woodlands Voters List is open for changes or revisions.
• Any person who is eligible to vote in municipal elections in the Local Authority of Rural Municipality of Woodlands can have his or her name added to the Voters List, or have any information about the voter on the Voters List corrected.
• Any person can request to have his or her name and address obscured from the Voters List.
A person whose name has been obscured will receive a Personal Security Certificate and identification number. In a civic election, that person may only vote by Sealed Envelope Ballot and cannot vote in person at the regular or advance voting places.
To implement the above, a written request must be submitted to the Senior Election Official, in person, by e-mail, fax or mail to:

2018 Septic Tank Pumpouts

NOTICE TO THE RESIDENTS OF THE LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT OF WARREN  The R.M. of Woodlands has contracted Jeffery’s Environmental Services Inc. to conduct the annual pump out of all septic tanks hooked in to the town sewage system.  This process will be conducted beginning May 15, 2018 with completion by September 30, 2018.  It is the responsibility of the resident to ensure the tank is accessible and free of obstructions.  In addition, to ensure that your tank can be properly rinsed out, please run a connected garden hose out to your tank.  Once the tank has been pump ...more

Burning Ban in effect April 25, 2018
