Looking for some summer time fun - Miami Beach Family Campground and Trailer Park is the place to be! Located just minutes west of Woodlands, on Miami Beach Road, the family fun spot offers something for everyone.
The large man-made lake and sandy beach is an excellent place to keep cool and enjoy the summer. The lake hosts two small docks off the edge of the beach and a diving platform in the center, along with a slide in the shallow area for younger children. The lifeguard-patrolled area also offers swimming lessons at various times throughout the summer.
After a swim, enjoy some beach side activities including beach volleyball, basketball, miniature golf and a playground with swings and play structure. The campground also offers horseshoe pits, baseball diamond and a hiking trail along with a large variety of sports equipment.
All that activity is going to make you hungry, break open you picnic basket and rest in the picnic area offering tables and fire pits or walk into the concession stand on the beach and order a variety of treats and fast food, don't forget the home made fries. A general store is located at the main gate offering all your basic needs.
The summer is filled with many special events including beach parties, charity fundraisers and theme activities on long weekends along with a number of fireworks displays throughout the season.
